Laser Treatment Servies
Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a clinically proven, non-invasive treatment option for use in wound healing, and other pain and sport injury applications. PBM utilizes an infrared laser to slowly infuse laser energy into an injured area. This energy is then taken up by the cells within the treated tissue resulting in an increase in intracellular activity.
By increasing the cellular activity, the laser energy causes the cells to release proteins that promote and acceleration cellular and tissue regeneration. The result is an increased rate of blood and lymphatic flow, decreased inflammation, and in turn a decreased level of discomfort and an increased rate of healing.
Studies suggest in some individuals this rate of increased healing can approach a 50% increase in regenerative rate depending on the type of injury. The treatments have been shown to be highly effective in most sports injuries, chronic back and joint pain, foot and ankle pain, and other musculoskeletal injuries. It is the effectiveness of PBM on such a wide assortment of medical conditions that make photobiomodulation the ideal solution for wound healing, and pain reduction.
So, if you experience pain from arthritis, tendonitis, chronic back issues, plantar fasciitis or have any other acute or chronic muscle or joint injury, PBM is the solution for you.
